Lectera CEO Mila Semeshkina is on the Rusbase list of “100 Russian female entrepreneurs”

For International Women's Day on 8th March, the online platform Rusbase has compiled a list of 100 brilliant Russian women, each of whom is changing the world, launching her own projects and developing unique startups. 

The list of these superheroines also includes Mila Semeshkina - CEO of Lectera, marketer, producer of educational courses and author of the innovative Fast Education methodology. Rusbase calls her main achievement the Lectera platform, which was launched in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic not only in the Russian market but also internationally. As a result, Lectera has three offices (in Moscow, Miami, and Dubai) and more than $3.5 million in investments.

There are many really bright personalities in the Rusbase list:

  • Natalya Kaspersky - co-founder of Kaspersky Lab and the head of InfoWatch, a company that develops information security solutions in 20 countries.
  • Anastasia Sartan - founder of Trends Brands, an online designer clothing store, which first was opened as a small showroom at the Kurskaya metro station. At the moment, Trends Brands has a turnover of $20 million, and Anastasia has launched two more startups - Grintern and Epytom.
  • Elena Bunina - Yandex CEO, a mathematician, and a professor at Moscow State University. Elena joined the company back in 2007, and in 2011 became the head of the HR department. As a result, in 2017, Elena took over as CEO of Yandex.
  • Alena Vladimirskaya - creator of the Facancy aggregator, which offers an email subscription to all open and found vacancies on the web. This solution makes it twice as easy to find a job!
  • Natalia Vodianova - model, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. She founded the Naked Heart charity foundation and has been a private investor for tech startups like the Elbi app or the PicsArt photo editor since 2017.
  • Tatyana Bakalchuk - founder of the international online store Wildberries, which trades in 9 countries, including Israel. In 2020, the company's turnover amounted to $6 billion, and in 2021 Tatyana became the owner of Bank Standard-Credit LLP.
