Instagram will no longer let you track the actions of people you follow
Instagram is finally getting rid of its controversial ‘Following’ tab. In the past, this tab could be used to track the actions of the people you followed: their likes, comments, new subscriptions, etc. Many people used this feature to spy on their partners.

According to Instagram, most users were not even aware of the feature and for this reason the social network was convince to get rid of the tab entirely. The users' lack of awareness was linked with a bigger problem - most users did not know that their activity could be monitored by others.
TechCrunch reports that the feature was notorious due to the high incidence of users taking advantage of it to catch their partners in the act of 'micro-cheating'.
