The ranking of the best online universities by ROI is presented

Ranking portal OnlineU has estimated the return on investment in higher education. The study used data on average graduate wages and the average debt for higher education in the United States.

Among other things, OnlineU specialists compared representatives of various faculties and universities and their financial situation 10 years after graduation. Each university was assigned an indicator of return on investment in education. It is noteworthy that both offline universities and programs that are available exclusively online took part in the study.

The top five online universities in the United States in terms of ROI in higher education included the University of Virginia, Northeastern University, Excelsior College, Capella University, and Empire State College. The best graduate programs, in terms of OnlineU, are offered by Fordham University, UC Berkeley, Northwestern University, Columbia University, and Johns Hopkins University.

In the ranking, you can find accurate data on the salaries of specialists who graduated from the top twenty universities. Thus, someone with a BA in art receives $ 80,000 a year (tuition in the corresponding program at the University of Montana costs $ 21,000), and a master's in consulting - $ 110,000 (paying $ 17,000 in tuition fees annually at the University of West Virginia).
